Did you know that according to the 2020 census there are 10,000 children between the ages of 0-19 within a 15 mile radius of Enon Baptist church alone? Even combining all the youth regularly attending churches in Graves county we wouldn't be scratching the surface of that number.
The Dilemma
Kids are not bored. There's a million things they could do. They are disinterested in anything that doesn't yield a meaningful interaction. They grow restless in their pursuit of it, become reckless in their attempts to obtain it and dissatisfied with life because they cannot find it. Meanwhile, we as adults hold the keys to it and have grown so distracted and cold we fail to realize it.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12
The Mission
Our focus is to not only do our best to provide children with a safe place to be on Saturday nights, but also a place where they can enjoy activities they otherwise may not be given the opportunity to do. All free of charge. Yes, we're going to take a few brief moments and speak to them about CHRIST. Yes, we're going to invite them to church so they can learn more about the ONE who shed HIS blood on Calvary's cross that they might be saved. We're going to love on them and make them feel welcome. We're going to make sure they have something to eat and drink. We're going to do everything we can to ensure they have a blast and feel at home so they know that someone genuinely loves them.
